Around Christmas I was contacted by Sgt. Gomez, President of the VVA MA State Council. A veteran named Robert Ewing had asked Sgt. for assistance. Robert had moved from the Cape to Wilmington. MA., and had nothing.
I sent out an email to VVA Chapter 908, the closet to Wilmington and asked for clothes and other essentials that Robert could use.
Within a few days I was overwhelmed with what we were able to bring to Robert, to get him on his feet.
The donations came in a new pair of boots, warm clothing, food, micro-wave, coffee pot, and kitchen utensils and a toaster oven.
Jim Guilfoyle, the VVA MA State Council representative from Chapter 908 and myself delivered the donations to Robert at his apartment in Wilmington. Robert was very appreciative of the kindness of the Vietnam Veterans of America.
Brothers, what a way to start the New Year. Please click on photos tab to see pictures.
